Renyl Mathew Foundation (Caring for Little Hearts)

Started in the year march 1999 Renyl Mathew Foundation was founded to comprehensively
deal with the scourge of heart disease in poor children of Indian.

In Indian each year more than 180,000 children are born with Congenital Heart disease (CHD)
and about 125,000 cases reach the age of 15 years due to lack of health awareness, poverty and
inadequate healthcare facilities.

Aim of the Foundation

* To help poor children with congenital and acquired heart diseases by providing financial
assistance and access to modern medical care.

*To cure their disability and give them a fighting chance to lead normal healthy lives.

*To increase awareness and educate the public in their understanding of the causes, prevention,
and eradication of child heart diseases.

About Renyl Mathew Foundation

A Childs birth brings immense, joy and happiness to the family. When Renyl Mathew was born amongst us as a little angel we rejoiced. But a great tragedy struck and our happiness lasted only a few days. When our little angel was diagnosed for congenital heart disease our lives were shattered, everything came to a stand still. When we gathered strength and determined to fight back, to save our little son from clutches of his heart disease, we faced a simple question, “What should we do?” How could we manage the huge cost of surgery, with God’s blessings, help came in from a few. Sympathetic words consoled us, and we got caring shoulders to cry upon. Despite our best efforts and the prayers of everyone around us Renyl Mathew, our beloved son, barely 6 months old left all of us for heavenly abode.

The emotional and financial suffering we underwent prompted us to reach out to the under privileged and marginalized people whose loved ones are suffering from similar ailments. We are grateful to God for the love and support we got from our near and dear during these terrible days, but there are thousands of others who are not lucky enough. Though they are determined to do everything possible on earth to save their child, they are left with meager resources to meet the cost of the treatment and they are unaware of modern medical facilities available. To provide help of all sorts we decided to reach out to those who are suffering as we did. In that thought was born “Renyl Mathew Foundation”. The basic aim of this foundation is to help children from the under privileged section of the society suffering from Congenital and Acquired heart diseases.

We invite like minded people to join us to be part of this initiative in fighting the scourge of heart disease in poor children in India.

How can you help?

It costs approximately Rs.50,000 Rs.200,000, to save a child's life.
You can pay by Cash, credit Card, crossed Cheque or DD drawn in favour of Renyl Mathew Foundation.

you are most welcome to enroll yourself as a volunteer for conducting awareness campaigns,
rural Cardiac Camps, publicity, creative work, counseling, , fund raising events,
patients assistance, secretarial work, helping with printing office stationary media, communication etc.
